Product photography of items such as stainless steel, aluminum, metal or silver involves technical skill as well as a strong understanding of strobes, continuous lights and modifiers, all of which I bring to bear for my clients in Los Angeles and the SF Valley. For this Emeril knife set, I took care to arrange the knives from large to small, which enabled me to more clearly show off the detail in the blades and the full range of products that the consumer would be purchasing. A large soft light source enabled me to keep the reflections even, without glare, which in turn highlights the soft brushed steel of the blades. The end result is a product that is clearly seen, and which is appealing to the viewer or customer.
